Canada is Rough

Seriously, it must be a horrible place. With all the complaining and dissatisfaction people have.

I met up with a friend the other day and she was very aggravated with out how much people whinge and whine all the time about how hard their lives are.

Seriously is life all that bad here?  Ok the cost of living is a little higher, you might have to work a little harder.  It’s not the neverland that living in Asia can be.  But Really?? There are good and bad things about every place, I’ve lived in a few countries and I’m not claiming to be an expert, but honestly there are things I HATED, and there were  things I just love love loved about each place.

Brazil, was FANTASTIC but I hated the insincerity of the men there, drove me nuts that while they worshiped women.. their ‘you’re so beautiful’s  became rather aggravating (to me anyway).  But I loved the fun social atmosphere, the friendliness etc!

Taiwan, Is great low cost of living, lack of rules is fun, but it’s hella frustrating all the cultural issues that arise.  Dating sucks, and I am looking at it from the perspective of dipping my toe back in the pond back home.  I  went on a date by freaking accident last night!

Canada is wonderful and horrid, people are completely dissatisfied with their lot and it’s frustrating.  Plus and these are my big worries, what would I do back in Canada? And Dude I don’t like winter.. boo.  But seriously?  Those are my issues.. people need to get over their own issues.

I can’t get over how whiny and freaky everyone is.  Seriously??? Quit your bitching, if life is so damn bad then change it.  Take action, don’t just sit around complaining.  IT”S NOT THAT FRICKEN BAD.. nothing is that bad. Yes there are economy problems, but they aren’t that damn bad, yeah sometimes finding nice guys or girls to date is a little sucky but really it’s much worse elsewhere, there are problems EVERYWHERE.  Things are great everywhere too, sigh.

I made some comment a few years about how most people in western countries complain all the time because they don’t have any real drama to deal with.  So a lot of people blow things completely out of proportion because they have not real drama to speak off.  You think some dude with no food, money or shoes is bitching about his stocks?  No dude is f’ing ecstatic to have a peice of toast.

I’m not sitting on some high horse and going to pretend that I never complain or over dramatize things.  But at least I recognize that it happens and am making an effort to appreciate what I have, and to change things when I’m dissatisfied.

All that said I need to update what I’ve been up to, but I’m cranky so I don’t think it’s the best time to try.
